TynkerSpace
TynkerSpace is Tynkertopia’s new MakerSpace designed for teens and adults ready to explore, build, and grow real-world skills. TynkerSpace opened in January 2025 and provides hands-on access to tools, technology, and mentorship that support creativity, career exploration, and lifelong learning.
TynkerSpace is open to learners ages 14 and up, including:
Teens exploring interests and career pathways
Young adults developing technical and creative skills
Adults seeking new skills, certifications, or creative outlets
TynkerSpace is designed to be welcoming, inclusive, and supportive for learners at all stages.
TynkerSpace supports workforce development by helping participants build practical, transferable skills used across many industries. Through hands-on learning and mentorship, participants gain experience with problem-solving, digital tools, and emerging technologies.
Learning opportunities include Amazon AWS–aligned content, introductory certifications, and career exploration designed to prepare learners for future education, training, or employment.
Participants access TynkerSpace through workshops, tool trainings, and guided learning experiences. Safety, confidence, and skill-building are emphasized so learners can work independently and collaboratively in the space.
TynkerSpace opened on January 10th, 2026, and we’re excited to welcome learners ages 14 and up into this new creative learning environment. TynkerSpace is an extension of Tynkertopia’s mission to inspire curiosity, creativity, and confidence through hands-on STEAM learning. While Tynkertopia serves children and families of all ages, TynkerSpace provides a dedicated space for older learners to build independence, explore careers, and develop leadership through making.
