Junior Interns

Junior Interns at Tynkertopia play a vital role in supporting the organization’s mission to foster creativity, inquiry, and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) knowledge within the Flagstaff community. They assist with the planning and facilitation of monthly classes, maintaining and organizing the makerspace, and engaging with children, youth, and families to inspire curiosity and collaborative learning.

Junior Interns contribute to the welcoming and inclusive atmosphere at Tynkertopia by helping participants explore real-world challenges through innovative, project-based activities. Additionally, they gain valuable experience in education and community outreach while developing their own leadership, communication skills, problem-solving, and STEAM-related skills.
