  • Description: Have the perfect sewing project but no clue where to start? Been meaning to learn how to use that old machine you got from your mom? During this series of four lessons, you can get aquainted with home sewing machines and create several projects over the course of the month while you learn the in's and out's of how to sew! Starting from scratch, pattern to panache, this beginner friendly course will cover parts, purpose, and pro tips for the entire sewing process and provide you ample opportunity to practice techniques multiple times. From fabric and thread selection, to patterning, to marking and cutting, to stitch styles and seam allowances, this class will build (or create!) confidence in your ability to bring an idea into reality. We will talk troubleshooting and common pitfalls while developoing our skills and knowledge base in an environment fit for all learning styles.
