Dr Rosanna Jumbo-Fitch

Dr. Rosanna Jumbo-Fitch, is from Chinle, Arizona, central Navajo Nation. She moved to Flagstaff, Arizona to pursue her higher education career at Northern Arizona University. Dr. Jumbo-Fitch educational background consists of Construction Management, Business, Community Design, Project Management, and she earned a Doctor of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Higher Education, from Northern Arizona University.

Dr. Jumbo-Fitch formerly taught as a part time faculty at Northern Arizona University within the construction management department, and now works as a professional Project Manager for the local school district. Dr. Jumbo-Fitch also owns and operates a local residential construction company. Dr. Jumbo-Fitch also served a four year elected term as the Chinle Chapter President, from 2021-2025, where she made a significant impact to her local community. Dr. Jumbo-Fitch embraces her Diné culture and language at every level and co-authored a children’s book in the Diné language.

Dr. Jumbo-Fitch is happily married to her husband John and together they share three wonderful children. She remains an active member within her local community, serving as a Diné Parent Committee member, student mentor, as well as joining Tynkertopia as a new Board member.
