3D Printing for Kids

  • Intended Audience: Age 8-12

  • Description: In this fun, hands-on class, kids ages 8–12 turn their ideas into real objects they can hold using beginner-friendly design software and 3D printers. Students will build creativity, problem-solving skills, and confidence as they design and print their own toys, gadgets, and imaginative creations.

    Please note: This is a computer-based design class. To participate successfully and independently, students must already be comfortable using both a computer mouse and a touchscreen and be able to read at grade level. These basic skills are necessary for students to follow instructions, navigate the design software, and get the most out of this exciting 3D printing experience.
