Tynkertopia is hosting two Geocaching events. The whole family can experience geocaching – locating hidden treasure at specific latitude and longitude coordinates. Use your smart phone and Google Maps to locate geocaches hidden in Bushmaster Park during Tynkertopia’s Geocaching Event. Each cache contains a STEAM Challenge to complete after the geocaching experience. The last cache will contain a small prize for each family that locates all the caches. Please bring a smart phone!

Charlotte Bynar: Charlie and the Rainbow Trout
Based on a true story, this children’s tale follows a young girl working to save a rainbow trout from a creek drying up at summer’s end. This book has a bonus scavenger hunt that is a fun and engaging educational tool for kids and their families. 100% of the profits of this book will go toward animal conservation.
Come and listen to Dr. Alice read Charlie and the Rainbow Trout and have local author, Charlotte Bynar, sign her newly released book. We’ll serve cookies to celebrate!
