July Classes

July will be an exciting month at Tynkertopia, as we are expanding our offerings of classes. Please consider attending one or more of the following series of classes (listed alphabetically) offered at Tynkertopia in July. Register for Classes! Please arrive 10-15 minutes early for the first class to pay for the class by cash, check or credit card.

Kids' Literature Hour

Immerse yourself in children’s literature. Listen to Dr. Alice read a well-known children’s book followed by an arts and crafts project inspired by that book.

Explore ways to use the camera in a smartphone and what makes a good photograph. Learn to tell a creative story through photographs.

Learn how to design jewelry with metal, beads, and found objects. See how ancient cultures adorned the entire body with jewelry. Then, learn how to photograph your work.

Zentangles for Adults

Zentangle patterns are unplanned, abstract, black-and-white art made up of beautiful patterns. Creating zentangles is a form of artistic meditation. They are a relaxing form of nonverbal journaling that develops creative abilities, concentration, problem-solving skills, and FUN . All materials provided.
